Training platform “Be the Change You Want to See in the World” aims to promote the active participation of young people in the development of democratic and pluralistic civil societies.
One of the focuses during this training seminar will be on Belarus and the human rights situation there.

Schedule of the activities:
First seminar (training) - between 2–and 10 May 2010
Second seminar (evaluation) - beginning of March 2011.
Phases of the program:
PHASE I Training Seminar (seven days)
PHASE II Work with participants through the e-platform (June 2010-September 2010)
PHASE III Practical experience – participants’ work on implementation of their social projects at the local or regional levels
PHASE IV Evaluation and follow-up seminar (four days)
The participants of the first training seminar are obliged to take part in all the following phases of the project as outlined above, as well as in the evaluation seminar in 2011.
Application is open for participants, aged between 18 and 32, coming from any Council of Europe countries or from Belarus.

Costs: €60 includes accommodation, food and materials (A small number of bursaries is available for the participants who are in need of financial assistance). Travel and visa costs will be reimbursed, provided that the condition of full attendance is met.
